chain reaction

Chain Reaction-- Mark 9: 23-24 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.     24And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

     We all believe in something to a certain degree, and our beliefs come from our expierences, ideas, the things we watch , listen to and read. These are the things that cause us to do what we do, and everything we do causes a chain reaction. As in newtons third law of motion,"every action causes a reaction". So where does it began if our lives are full of chain reactions? It begans with a neutron; A neutron is a tiny subatomic particle that can be found in practically all forms of conventional matter. The powerful thing about a neutron is it can start out as one and quickly multiply into many. The same way our actions start out as one and cause many reactions.In science this is called nuclear fission.This is when a neutron hits an atom and multiplies into many neutrons.

     When God spoke into nothing he created something, but not one something many somethings. There was power in his word (a neutron). In Numbers 23:19 it is written that God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? In other words, when God speaks something in his word or over your life it has to happen. Im sure your thinking right now,"how can this be? There are so many things in my life that have'nt taken place even though I have continued to pray, fast, and seek God on them. Well i'm about to give you some good news. If when God speaks its like a neutron, then everytime it hits a wall it's got to multiply. By the time it reaches you it will be bigger and better than you could ever imagine. Now that's some powerful news for the things i'm believing for like my loved ones, my relationships , my employement and even my deliverance. But what about those negative things I've filled myself up with that have caused their own negative reactions. How do I stop those things that just keep happining over and over again? 

     There is a story in 2 Kings 4:38-44 which speaks about Elisha in Gilgal, a group of men in an effort to feed the prophet collected herbs and things needed to make a pot of pottage. One of the men put in the pot something from a wild vine which was poison, of course this caused the pottage to be poison and the men became afraid. Elisha then tells the men to put some meal in the pottage. Meal which is used for bread soaks up the poison in the pottage. The bread takes the poison away. Christ is called the bread of life. I know your shouting with me right now because that would mean whatever poison from life expierences, music, tv, or circumstances can simply be cleaned out by Christ. Christ is the word of God that has been made flesh. So if we fill ourselves up with the word of God, it will clean out the poisons of life that cause us to make bad desicisons and have negative chain reactions. Use the word to change your life take the neutrons that God gives you and mulitply them into something great!
